Achonu, Imo LP Guber Candidate Celebrates Charly Boy @ 72

Governorship Candidate of Imo Labour Party for the November 11 governorship election, Senator Athan Achonu has felicitated renown and tireless activist, Charles Oputa, aka Charley Boy, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday anniversary.

The governorship candidate who joined the man also popularly known as the area father in London for the celebration, sang praises to God for the good health, protection, strength and wisdom, bestowed on the celebrant which have enabled him continue to be a voice for the voiceless and fighter for justice, fairness and equity.

The founder and promoter of the “Akurulo” philosophy, which he has been using to advocate for a think home renaissance amongst Ndi Igbo, described him as one of the few that Charly Boy is an uncommon personalities and rare breeds Nigeria and Imo State are blessed with, giving his readiness to sacrifice everything to enthrone and sustain good and people oriented leadership in the polity.

He said the celebrant has not only remained a strong pillar of support to youths but has inspired many into taking to fighting for social and political justice, even as he noted that fighting for the masses political, social and economic rights is a trait he shares in common with him.

The LP candidate as usual used the opportunity of the occasion to, once again reiterate the great need for Ndi Imo and Igbo general to, see the great existential threat comparable to that they faced in sixties and seventies, facing the region at the moment and, start bringing their investments home, to prevent regrets in the future.
