The Athan Achonu Media Centre wishes to formally announce that all campaign activities for Senator Athan Nneji Achonu as regards tomorrow’s governorship election in Imo State ended on Thursday, November 9, 2023, in deference to the provisions of the Electoral Act.

While it lasted, it was a worthwhile venture as the campaign train traversed the 27 local government areas of the state to interface with the electorate.

The wholesome expressions of love and acceptance by the huge crowds that received the team were amazing and highly appreciated.

We are convinced that together, we shall ‘Take Back Imo’ and, therefore, urge the people to troop out to cast their ballots without fear of intimidation, as adequate security has been put in place to protect both the voters and their votes during and after the exercise.

However, we state that we have rounded off our campaign in accordance with the Electoral Act, and shall not be liable for the circulation of further campaign materials purported to be from our team.

We wish Ndi Imo a safe and successful exercise tomorrow.
