OPEN LETTER OF COMMENDATION TO SENATOR ATHAN NNEJI ACHONU

Dear Senator Achonu,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits.
I am writing to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on your outstanding performance during the just concluded Imo State Governorship election.
Your ability to galvanize the people and inspire them to believe in the electoral process is truly commendable.

Despite the numerous challenges faced during the election, including the use of government resources to intimidate voters, ballot paper hijacking, arbitrary result-writing, and all forms of electoral fraud, you remained resolute in your commitment to upholding the principles of democracy.

Your steadfastness and determination to subject the entire exercise to scrutiny demonstrate your unwavering dedication to justice and the well-being of the people of Imo State.

What truly sets you apart as a leader is your call for peace and adherence to the rule of law. In the face of provocations and violence, you consistently advocated for your supporters to exercise restraint and refrain from taking the law into their own hands. This level-headedness and commitment to non-violence are qualities that every leader should aspire to possess.

Your passion for the people of Imo State and your unwavering belief in their democratic rights have not gone unnoticed.

There is no doubt that as a true son of the soil and the champion of #AkuRuoUlo mantra, you are passionate and committed to serving the people of Imo State and ensuring that their democratic rights are not trampled upon. This same passion for the people of Imo State drives you to continuously advocate for their needs and work towards creating a better future for them.
You firmly believe that every citizen deserves equal opportunities and a voice in shaping their own destiny.

Your supportive hand has been firmly held, your voice has been clearly heard, and together, we can strive for progress, inclusivity, and a brighter future for Imo State.

May God guide your paths and continue to shine His glorious light upon you.

Yours truly,
Richard Okey Onuoha
