Few days ago, Senator Nneji Athan Achonu was at the home of the late Elder statesman and former President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, MFR, OFR, KSC (Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo) to comiserate with the family and Ndi Igbo worldwide.

Chief Iwuanyanwu was an iconic leader, astute politician, distinguished businessman, and fervent nationalist.

According to him, the death of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, MFR, OFR, KSC (Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo) has created a big vacuum as Ahaejiagamba’s life can best be described as a testament to the power of resilience, leadership, and unwavering commitment to Ndi Igbo and Nigeria at large.

“Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu was a titan in the business world whose philanthropic efforts were enormous, as he consistently gave back to the community, uplifting those in need and investing in the future of our nation.

“Truly, the Igbo Nation and Nigeria at large have lost a true patriot.”

While offering his condolences, he shared words of encouragement with his family and assured them that Ahaejiagamba’s enduring legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. He prayed the good Lord to give the family the fortitude to bear this great loss.
